Item description for Life in the Spirit by Robertson McQuilkin, J. Robertson McQuilkin & Philip Yancey...
Overview Robert McQuilkin writes, "The Holy Spirit is the source of our spiritual blessing, the administrator and executive officer of our triune God." So why do we so often neglect the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives? With fresh insights, McQuilkin reveals how the church has too often ignored the Spirit's influence and what we must do to get back to our spiritual roots. Grounded in solid theological basics, the book thoroughly explores the core biblical teachings about the Holy Spirit and describes His ten activities (including glorifying, sending, gifting, overcoming, transforming, and revealing). Based on McQuilkin's thirteen-week interactive study course, this is an ideal resource for both individual and small-group study.

Reviews - What do customers think about Life in the Spirit?
A good reminder that we know this already! Nov 3, 2002
McQuilkin is a man who lives what he writes about, so he has my deep admiration. In this book, he doesn't really tell us anything we don't already know, but he arranges it in a way that hits the sweet spot and "reminds" us to put what we know together in a new and interesting way. If you want to draw closer to the Holy Spirit, McQuilkin is an excellent guide.
