Item description for Writes of Life: Using Personal Experiences in Everything You Write by Robert Yehling...
It's all within us-the stories, experiences, dreams, adventures (and misadventures), relationships, tragedies, triumphs, loves found and broken, mountains climbed, discoveries made. Each of us carries the crucible of human nature. Personal stories form the basis of most great literature-whether fiction, non-fiction, poetry, essays or biography. Let's allow the magical, mystical storyteller within us to spin our thousand and one tales with complete freedom and abandon, and use our own walk as the authentic foundation for our writing life. Writes of Life provides a direct, interactive experience to take your work to the deepest level - where human nature, universal truth and the art of storytelling merge. No matter what your level of experience or genre, the stories, concepts, questions, applications and exercises can change the way you write, inspire you and transform the way you view the world and others. Experience the writes of your own life!
