Reviews - What do customers think about Christian Ethics: A Case Method Approach?
Thought-Provoking May 14, 2010
We used this book in my Christian Theology class at Luther College, and I thought it was excellent. The authors present hypothetical situations and then a commentary on the situation from a Christian Ethics point of view. Some of the cases are of course better than others, and a couple of the commentaries were not terribly helpful. But, I guess the best thing I can say about this book is that for several cases, when I went home from class, the cases stuck with me. Several are very realistic, real-life situations, and sometimes life is tough, without easy answers. This book does a good job of presenting Christian ideas towards a resolution, while leaving the reader with several possibilities, none of which are ideal, but all of which could be real.
