Reviews - What do customers think about Hearing the Whole Story?

A Heavy, Dense Book  Apr 3, 2007
This is a meaty, tough, serious book not to be read by the casual dilettante. It requires effort, sweat, devotion, and work. Having said that I am persuaded by Horsley's argument and found a new appreciation for the evangelist Mark. This is not an easy book and pastors, busy pastors, might not want to expend the effort needed in order to understand what the author intends. However, I found the devotion needed to work through the book more than paid rewards in appreciating both the author's knowledge and expertise, but also the gospel writer's abilities.
