Christian Missionary Pilot Biography - a rare find in prose Oct 21, 2008
This book has outstanding artwork, and the true story is told in prose form which is always good to read aloud to young children. Highly recommend this book for your children who have an interest in aviation - it's great to show them that their interests are often used by God for His glory!
Wish I liked it.... Feb 14, 2007
This is an entire series that I really do wish that I liked, but I just can't get into it.
Several of them were given to us to put into our library collection for a Christian school. The teachers will get excited when they see the covers, only to open them up and decide after the first page of forced rhymes that it really is not worth the effort to try to get students to read them.
This series would have been so much better if the information had just been presented rather than trying to make it "cute". The people have interesting enough lives that kids would probably be interested in reading about them and they are just the right size for younger children who are just starting to read on their own.
