How Can We Know What to Believe?
Everywhere we look, angels are in the spotlight -- prime-time TV, bestselling books, the most prominent shelves of well-known gift stores. More and more people are reporting fascinating stories about personal encounters with angels.
What's surprising, however, is that very little of what we're hearing these days matches up with what the Bible says about angels.
What exactly does the Bible tell us about angels? Amazingly, it tells us a lot. It tells us who angels are, what they, do, and how they minister to us. You'll discover all that and much more in Renald Showers' inspiring book, Those Invisible Spirits Called Angels.

Enoch Tradition Revised Apr 18, 2003
I am a graduate of the Institute of Jewish Studies (IJS), a school of the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, and, as such, I am a personal acquaintance of Renald (Renie) Showers. He was one of my professors, and, therefore, I can personally testify to his own personal integrity and his intense knowledge of the Holy Scriptures.
This work presents a revised version of the Enochian Tradition, wherein he suggests that the Nefillim of Genesis 6:1-12 were Fallen Angels, and he expertly argues this point from Jude 6-7.
In doing this, he reconciles Fundamentalist and Dispensational doctrine with the ancient Enochian Traditions. This is commendable.
My only argument against my former Professor, and I do so in a reverent manner, is that he neglects the clear teaching that the Gibborim were the Demonic Offspring of the Nefillim and the human women.
Other than this, I highly recommend this book to anyone who desires to formulate a "working" Angelology concerning the Bible. It serves as an excellent companion to Merrill Unger's "Biblical Demonology".
