An original collection of brief, free-verse poems May 22, 2003
The Missing is an original collection of brief, free-verse poems written with terse passion and unabashed honesty by Rangi McNeil. Raw emotion pours through the verses without restraint. "She left in summer. Afterwards, the windows / refused to latch, the trashcans to contain / and my voice to thicken. / I did not thing anything would change, ever - / Now, I try so very little: my hobbled heart / at the top of steep stairs."
