Publishers Description "High in the western mountains of New Mexico, sits the town of Mountain Fire. At one time the area was home to mountaineers, hunters, gold seekers, and bandits. By the early nineteen hundreds it was a railroad and mining town. And this is where, for a variety of reasons, the men had come. Exiled, as Benjamin liked to tell his congregation, banished to, as Compton would say... or, in a serious moment, why did the Lord lead me to this place? And so there were ten." Reviews - What do customers think about The Nehemiah Project?
The Nehemiah Project-R.A. Stokes Jun 26, 2008
I finished reading The Nehemiah Project: I thought, "This book must have a sequel." In a market satiated with saccharine Christian romance novels, The Nehemiah Project filled a void--it satisfied a longing for a Christian novel that was well written, a book that had characters who faced challenges that caused me to think about my own Christianity. I could relate to real Christians living in a real world. The Nehemiah Project is literature that leaves its reader thinking about the book long after the reading is finished. This book is an absolute must read for any pastor or layperson within the body of Christ. Not only is this book a great fictional story with a great and easy to follow plot, but this book is a message within itself that will bring conviction to the serious believer's heart.
I would recommend this book as a gift to your pastor or minister friend during the upcoming Pastor's Appreciation Month of October. But don't wait to buy two copies until then, for you will want one yourself if you desire personal, churchwide or community wide revival this is the book to challenge your heart to seek God in prayer for his out pouring.
