More About R. A. Montgomery, S. Burphon, Claudio Griglio, Andres Rossi, Timothy Liu, Kelly L. Cozza & Jocelyn Soffer
Raymond A. Montgomery is the founder of the Choose Your Own Adventure interactive children's book series. Montgomery synthesized all of his varied educational and game theory work in the Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA) series, first published by Bantam Books in 1979. The series grew into a publishing phenomenon with over 180 titles and 250 million copies published worldwide in over 35 languages. The books were unique in that they appealed equally to girls and boys, to reluctant readers and avid ones. The CYOA series has been used in classrooms from early elementary school to college. At the advent of the Internet age, the series was used frequently in curricula focused on explaining the interactivity of the World Wide Web to young children. After a successful stint in the mid-to-late-90's designing games for CD-ROM, Montgomery decided to re-launch the CYOA series based on the interest he was getting from former fans. Montgomery and partners Shannon Gilligan and Gordon Troy, Esq. have turned their full attentions to Choose Your Own Adventure since Fall 2004. The series is being reissued through Chooseco LLC, in Waitsfield, Vermont. R.A. MONTGOMERY is an avid outdoorsman. He has hiked in the Himalayas, climbed mountains in Europe, scuba-dived in Central America, and sailed in Franco-phone Africa .He has lived in France, travels frequently to Asia, and calls Vermont home. His interests include macroeconomics, geo-politics, mythology, history, mystery novels, and music. He has two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters.
R. A. Montgomery currently resides in Warren, in the state of Vermont.
Reviews - What do customers think about Tattoo of Death (Choose Your Own Adventure: Classic #22) (Choose Your Own Adventure)?
Entertaining Sep 12, 2003
When I was 11-14, I read nothing but CYOA books. I loved them. But, you know, I just got too old and sophisticated to read them. The other day, I was cleaning my room and came across this book. I read it for 20 minutes. It's still as good as it was back in 1996.
who knew the flower could be so deadly May 6, 2003
The flower tattoo was a symbol of evil;when you read into action you want out of this gang of thugs almost immediately. That's when the action really begins, there are myriad decisions that will be made, nothing is better than nailing the hoodlum gang members, there's a whole host of ways in taking them down. "GOOD LUCK FRIENDS"
What the wha-hoozits? May 14, 1999
This book is awful! No matter how many times I read through it I couldnt understand it. It kept jumping from one thing to the other and made utterly no sense. I used all 138 pages to wipe my butt! Eat that R. A. Montgomery!!
