Item description for No, Not You! Why Not Me? by Phyllis Wilson...
Pastor Phyllis Wilson is a single parent of one child (Dominique R. Dorsey). She obtained a bacheloras degree from DePaul University with a focus in law (family law) on June 10, 2006. She will be attending Trinity International in Dolton, Illinois, pursuing a masteras degree with a focus in urban ministry. As a full-time employee, student, mother, and senior pastor of Promises of God Ministries, she finds time to pursue other areas in the ministry. Family is very important to her, so she has Soul Food Sunday with her family and friends. Being the godmother of two, she spends time with them to ensure that education is a top priority for them. When asked what her greatest accomplishment is, she states, aTwo are at the top of my listaGod in my life and my son.a If she had to do things differently she would not change a thing. The way that her life has unfolded is the way that is allowing her to minister to women about things that most people feel she would not know anything abouta]but not so. aThe saying goes you canat judge a book by its cover, so why do we judge people from their outer appearances? The good thing is that I have not crossed the finish line in this life, so I have plenty of work still to do here, before my graduation (death).a

No, Not You! Why Not Me? Mar 7, 2008
I am very proud of this accomplishment of a dear friend. I commend the courage and strength of her excellent example of being more than a conqueror. God has truly begun a good work in Phyllis, but He has even greater works planned. And just as He did for Phyllis, He will do the same for others. This book will inspire and encourage others to be and do, knowing that with God nothing is impossible!
