Great book, easy to read and helpful Dec 31, 2005
I enjoyed this book very much. I think its very helpful and practical. The information is also very easy and accessable. If you are having relationship problems I highly encourage you to read it. I actually bought a copy for both myself and my partner.
Totally Useless Psycho Babble! Dec 20, 2003
As a therapist with 25 years couples counseling experience I found this book to be an utter waste of time. Psychobabble that could have been written by a high school student. Totally useless with regard to giving any real guidance or aid. One would do better to Dial A Therapist or get on line counseling. Save your time and money!
Sound Advice for Relationships in Trouble Jan 7, 2001
Experiencing the break up of a relationship can be very painful. It doesn't matter if it's a marriage or other form of partnership; it usually hurts badly. Psychotherapist Dr. Peter M. Kalellis has much to offer in his new book, "Restoring Relationships - Five Things to Try Before You Say Goodbye". As someone who spent a decade as a counselor in private practice, I very much enjoyed reading this book. Instead of presenting dry and abstract theories, Dr. Kalellis shares his important ideas with simple language we can all understand. I especially appreciated the stories about real couples, and that he included practical action steps throughout the book. If you or someone you know is in a relationship that is in trouble, Restoring Relationships is a tool that can help make a difference.
