Item description for Secret Chambers: Supernal Miracles by Peter Charles...
In this book I share with you my many miracles and encounters with evil spirits I have endured in my fifty years of walking about in this Fallen Earth Age. I and my friend Cephas (an Indian from northern Wisconsin who has passed on into our Lordas Firmament) call it a gray age because there is no consistent joy in this world. There is a tremendous spiritual battle going on in this world as we co-exist with a dimension of God, Jesus, and his angels wanting us to stand against the demonic spirits that fill this world. In the last part of this book I interview myself and introduce a plethora of scientific proof to prove the existence of the Holy Trinity and Satan. I present indisputable proof that the Bible is true and the end time battle will then follow. Do you know that you are a star that will shine in Godas firmament if you are a Christian?

I Have To Put At Least ONE Star?!?! Aug 20, 2009
When I first saw the title of the book, Secret Chambers, I thought HA, a cheap knock off of Harry Potter. I was sadly mistaken. Then I read the cover jacket where the author proclaims to interview himself and provide scientific proof that God exists. I thought, HA, a comedy. Again, I was sadly mistaken. This book is so poorly written not only grammatically but also in style and context that the author should be charged with stealing the two hours of my time it took to plod through this drivel. A drunken sailor on shore leave, with a concussion to boot, would have written a more coherent and purposeful book. Nevertheless, looking at three major "plot" (used only for lack of a better term) points, let us discuss each one in small detail.
First, the author's tale of his friend's drowning one summer. No doubt a sad and traumatic event for anyone of any age. However, in THIS book, the author tells NO ONE except his mother, hides the "friends" bike, eats dinner and only when the police arrive does he share what has happened. Thus proving...............I don't know what the hell this proves except the author either has a twisted imagination or worse.
Second. The author proclaims that his neighborhood is a microcosm of the world in general. A quiet suburban street in a regular suburban neighborhood. Of course, according to the author it sounds like minions from Dantes Inferno have been unleashed upon him and his..roommate...? Again, this proves........... However, it should be pointed out that the author, when referencing his neighbors, conveniently forgets or ignores two very important teachings in his bible. Matthew 7:2-5 and John 8:1-11. Perhaps a little more introspection is needed here.
Finally, the self interview to provide evidence that God exists. I can not even comment on this because by the time I got this point I could not discern if I was really there.
Sadly, after plodding through this muck, I felt as if I had gone through several root canals. It is easy to criticize books for those who have not tried to write one but sometimes, it is better to NOT write one at all and this is the case. If you want to waste your money, I would suggest throwing it into a fire pit and reading the back of a cereal box.
