Reviews - What do customers think about 50+1 Greatest Cities in the World You Should Visit (50 Plus One)?
Wow--definitely worth a look Oct 29, 2006
This charming and well-written guide to must-see worldwide locales was informative and easy to use. Each entry contains subject headings such as basic facts, demographics, a brief history, and sights and sounds but I found myself skipping right to the trivia parts before hitting the other sections because of the surprising and odd facts I discovered about each city. The most valuable parts of the book were in the sites and sounds sections where I was able to find out exactly what was worth traveling 400 or 4,000 miles to see. As a valuable gift, as a starting point when planning your next trip, or simply as a way to enjoy far-off places without leaving your creature comforts, this book is definitely worthy of your time.
