My 3 year old son loves this presentation of The Christmas Story. We bought it as a gift for other kids in our family.
Missing the Wise Men Dec 4, 2007
This book is great, as far as it goes. I know the Wise Men (or kings) weren't there at the birth of Jesus, but all her other Christmas books and her Nativity set have them and this one doesn't. Also, Mary doesn't look pregnant at all and they don't mention that she is. All of a sudden, in the middle of the night, there is the Baby Jesus. I do like the illustrations, and the fact that it follows the Bible fairly closely. One of the better choices available in board books for telling the Christmas story.
