Ready-made, flexible lessons especially for librarians May 16, 2004
Recommended for grade levels K-5, Stretchy Library Lessons: Seasons & Celebrations is one of the Stretchy Library Lessons series, each volume of which presents ready-made, flexible lessons especially for librarians with little preparation time. Stretchy Library Lessons: Seasons & Celebrations has 10 ready-made lessons, one for each month of the year from August through May. Created by an elementary educator of over 30 years' experience, each lesson has one 20-minute activity and two to six additional activities that can be arranged to fit one's time frame appropriately. Each lesson includes a grade range, a statement of purpose, list of materials, items to prepare in advance, additional materials needed and appropriate resources. Highly recommended especially for school, public and children's librarians.
