Reviews - What do customers think about Wee Sing Silly Songs?

Wee Sing Silly Songs  Mar 11, 2007
awesome cd. great singing by both the kids and adults and just plain cute. excellent for car trips or plane rides. good times when listening to this cd. very good.
New release is a disappointment  Jan 9, 2007
My brother and I really enjoyed our Wee Sing Silly Songs tape as kids, so I purchased the CD for my son. As I recall, on the old release the songs were sung by adults (albeit in funny voices). On the new release the songs are mostly sung by children, which gets to be irritating. I would much prefer to have my old tape back.
Love it!  Sep 19, 2006
I remembering listening to this 20 years ago and I still love it today!
These are religious songs!  Jun 1, 2006
Am I the only person in the world who didn't know that all Wee Sing stuff is religious. Okay - maybe I live under a rock, but when I pick up a cd/book package for kids that says "Silly Songs & Finger Plays", and has NO mention anywhere on the packaging or in the titles of the songs about Christianity or religion, I hope I can assume that the book is just a bunch of funny songs meant to entertain, not subliminally teach Christianity to my 4 year old! We are a secular family and teach our children to respect all religions and cultures. We would rather they didn't go about singing songs that made them sound Christian (or Buddhist or anything else for that matter.) "Abraham, Isaac and Jacob went to Jericho. Maybe they should have gone to Amsterdam." - thus goes a song titled "Three Jolly Fishermen". What's that supposed to mean??? I'm sure this is a great CD/book set if you are a practising Christian. The publisher should get responsible and mention the religious bent on the packaging for those consumers who are not.
