By looking at the lives of some famous teenagers from the Bible, learn how you can deal with the rigors and temptations of high school life without giving up.
High school is the ultimate learning experience. A journey that crams highs, lows, and new experiences into four roller-coaster years. Where freshmen learn to live on the bottom as seniors reign at the top. Where romance blooms and dies, maybe even in the same day. And students may even learn something in the process (if they're lucky). Popular author Adam Palmer takes a laugh-out-loud look at life before adulthood. With his hip and humorous style, Adam shares both personal and collected wisdom about the high school experience. From grade expectations to the opposite sex to balancing the studies with the social, Adam prepares students of any age for a four years they'll never forget.

A Wealth Of Information Sep 22, 2008
High school can be tough for teens. They're no longer children, but they're not adults either. Suddenly they are facing a lot of new situations with no easy answers. It's a time of searching and growing, of making decisions that can change their lives permanently. Adam Palmer admits he doesn't have all the answers, but he deals with some very tough questions. He doesn't duck the issue either. His advice is solid, and very much on the mark. There's a wealth of information here and all of it based on God's word. I'll definitely pass this book along to the teenagers in my family.

Well, well. We finally have a piece of work that deals honestly with G-d and culture and the ways of growing up. Adam Palmer does a magnificent job of attacking subjects such as the meaning of life, our relationships with G-d, family, ourselves and others, how to deal with parents and siblings and friends, temptation, and the future. One of the most refreshing aspects of the book is that Palmer doesn't just stay in the arena of ambiguous abstraction when dealing with big issues such as temptation and relationships, but he comes down to the concrete, here and now, our world experiences when dealing with subjects like sex, masturbation, rule of law set up by the parents, school, homework, etc. This book is most definitely a breath of fresh air designed to get the conversation going between a student and his/her parents. If you are a teenager, or a parent, please get and read this book.
