A Must Read for Moms! Sep 23, 2009
This is an amazing collection of short stories with a reflection after every chapter. It challenges your thinking, makes you laugh, and inspires you. I would recommend this book to any mother, wife, sister or daughter! The devotional helped my sister through a difficult time and she continues to refer to it. Well worth the read!
This is a GREAT book! Sep 9, 2009
As a mother of two in her early 30's, this devotional book is EXACTLY what I was looking for. The author totally gets what this stage of life is like. She puts things in perspective and then encourages her readers to look in the right direction. She makes you want to grow in your walk with Jesus...and reminds you He loves you right where you are. I look forward to reading this each morning.
Keeping the "Cup Half-Full Perspective Aug 2, 2009
Reading Celeste Palermo's book is inspiring, humorous, and puts all those mishaps we experience in life in perspective. She had me roaring with laughter, crying, and reflecting as I read her book along with the Bible verses she suggested. Celeste definitely has a "half-cup full" outlook on life ...and I'm not referring just to her cup of coffee! I, myself, am a grandmother now, but I could relate perfectly to this book and I believe everyone could. It doesn't matter if you are male, female, a parent or not, or even a coffee drinker!...this book is a must-read for anyone that wants to reconnect with what and who is important in their lives or is simply looking for a fresh approach in their devotions. I'll be waiting for Coffee Mom's Devotional II!
Couldn't get enough of this book! Jul 1, 2009
I recently took this book with me on a trip and found myself unable to put it down. It had me laughing, smiling, crying and yes, nodding my head in agreement as I read each devotional. I am a mom of five and there are times I question if certain "mommy" experiences are normal and duplicated by others, wondering if anyone can relate to my daily chaos. Well this coffee mom does. I loved how Celeste acknowledges God in our role as mothers and everyday life. What a truly uplifting and inspirational book. I loved it so much I shared it with a stranger on the airplane on my way home from the trip....a must read for all moms!! Can't wait for the next book!
