Item description for Implementing The OECD Anti-Bribery Covention: The United States by Oecd...
The OECD Anti-Bribery Convention entered in force in 1999, with the aim of helping to enhance economic efficiency and level the playing field in the conduct of international business. Under the Convention, each of the 30 OECD Members and 5 associate members have agreed to outlaw corruption and bribery of foreign public officials and to submit to a review of its national laws and enforcement efforts in this regard. The individual country reviews will be carried out by the OECD Working Group on Bribery in International Business Transactions, and the review process for all 35 member states is due to be completed by 2007. This two volume binder contains the first five country reports covering the United States of America, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany and Iceland. Additional reports for the remaining 30 states will be supplied as part of the subscription package as they are published.
