Reviews - What do customers think about Most of All, Jesus Loves You!?
My Baby loves this Nov 18, 2008
My Baby is just 4 months old and she just loves this book, as i turn the pages she loves to see the bright colors and i feel that the message from the book means a looot even to an Infant... I truely loved this book.
Very Sweet Book Mar 22, 2008
This is a beautiful children's book. It's simple and the pictures are darling! It's perfect for young kids, but a book that your older kids will want you to read over and over! My boy's are 4 and 6 and still love this book after reading it to them for many years!
Expected MUCH more Mar 9, 2006
Coming from the Piper's I expected much more. With a paucity of good solid children's books, I was delighted to see this book on the market and bought it is a second, based on the content of other books from them. However, there was nothing like the contect of John MacArthur's children's book... $10 is a LOT to spend on this very simple book that is not at all original... disappointed.
Response from author Aug 31, 2005
Andrew, I'm sad that you were disappointed. No author wants to disappoint a reader. I hope it might help to realize that this book is written for toddlers. This does not diminish the greatest truths in the universe, but it does affect the amount and depth of a presentation. I meant to give our very youngest a foundation for their most important reality--beyond any human love they know, the love of Jesus is far greater.
Perhaps my other books may give you an idea of how crucial I do believe it is to center our lives and family deeply and firmly on Jesus.
Disappointed Aug 2, 2005
Theologically strong and Biblically accurate childrens books are a difficult find. I thought in buying this book that I would be getting a well crafted story that would nurture a young childs heart towards knowing God, or atleast teach them something about who He is. Noel Piper writes in the footsteps of her husband who is one of the greatest Christian authors and thinkers of our generation. With this foundation in place, I thought that I was getting a quality childrens book. It turns out that not only is it one of the more expensive children's books out there, the story could not have taken more than 5 minutes to write. There are very few words, and very few pages. I love Debbie Andersons work, her books are great. However Noel Piper does not offer a story that compares to other childrens books on the market, Christian or secular. Do not buy this book based on the name on the cover!
