Reviews - What do customers think about The Nkjv Slimline Bible?
Product was as it was said to be. Thank you. Apr 26, 2008
The comments about the Bible were true and accurate. I appreciate that. It was unused and smelled musty, but that has gone away. I love it. It was delivered in a timely manner. My purchase was a success. Thank you for a good experience.
Excellent Bible for on the road Jan 13, 2008
While I personally prefer the ESV translation - I have found this Bible to fit excellently the niche I needed it for. It is very convenient to carry when a bulky study Bible is not needed without being so small as to discourage reading it.
The formatting of it makes finding verses particularly easy and I have found it very useful as a carry along Bible.
You won't be disappointed
Very Pleased Nov 2, 2007
This bible was a great investment. Slim line as noted and real leather cover. I gave it to one of my congregation members because her's was getting tattered and torn. She truly enjoyed it.
Decent quality...very handy and easily stowable... Sep 15, 2007
A compact and easily portable Bible...leather is supple, and expectedly the pages are extremly thin, so handle with care, but nice for travel as it fits inside the outside pockets of most luggage. A very aesthetically pleasing Bible in a great translation...

I advocate the King James Bible for study as well as devotional reading. This version is based on the most credible Hebrew and Greek manuscripts. The Hebrew is based on the Masoretic text, which is proven to be carefully copied and passed down the ages. The Greek is the only complete New Testament manuscript. Other versions of the Bible try to harmonize various texts which are incomplete. If you find a word that you dont understand, just get your Strong's Concordance and look up the word, find the number that is matched to the Greek or Hebrew dictionary in the back and search the appropriate dictionary to find the meaning. The KJV is also a very literal translation which means that it is very conservative and precise in style of language. This is why the KJV Bible is the Bible of choice.
