A mountain meadow splashed scarlet with Indian Paintbrush. A trio of Pasqueflowers. Bright Parralena bursting from a crack in parched mud, Brittlebrush blanketing a lush palm grove. Intrepid and hardy, beautiful yet fleeting, wildflowers illuminate America's landscape, from forest to field to desert to coastline. Featuring twelve species in their native habitats, Audubon Wildflowers is a showcase for nature's most extraordinary blooms.

Book Description
Wherever they pop up---lush fields, arid deserts, coastal dunes---hardy wildflowers are a colorful and fragrant delight. The hot-pink blossoms of the Beavertail Prickly Pear. A forest carpeted with purple and white Fringed Phacelia. Fireweed ablaze over a mountain meadow. Featuring twelve species in their native habitats, this calendar is a showcase for nature's most beautiful blooms and an outdoor enthusiast's delight.

Reviews - What do customers think about Audubon Wildflowers Calendar 2009 (Wall Calendars)?

Love the Calendar  Apr 18, 2009
Wonderful imagery. I am very happy about the flowers in this calendar. Perfect for anyone that gardens. Great mother's day gift (if not too late in the year for someone - lol) I would pick this one again.
Beautiful photographs  Feb 14, 2009
This calendar includes beautiful photographs and interesting facts about species and regions that they are found in.
Calendar  Feb 9, 2009
It's a very pretty calendar but was a bit too big for my particular cubicle space, which is quite small. In order to see the full month, I have to fold the top half down, which means that I don't get to see the picture.
Love the calendar!  Feb 4, 2009
This is a really beautiful calendar. I would definately order another one for next year.
A great gift for gardeners  Jan 11, 2009
I buy this wonderful calendar every year for myself -- and also give it as a gift to the gardeners on my list. The photography is beautiful, the text helpful and interesting, the layout clean and simple.
