Item description for No More Than I Can Bear by Natalie Thomas & Gaylynne Sword...
Overview All of us live our lives with a certain vision of what our future will be. In the twists and turns that our journey through life might take, do we ever venture to imagine that the mirror of our lives can so easily be shattered into many painful, piercing shards? How much will God ask us to bear? My story appeals to many audiences and all those who desire to have a personal relationship with the true and living God. Readers will join me on my journey from the "perfect" life, through discovery of betrayal, deceit, adultery, and criminal activity, followed by diagnosis of a life-threatening illness. With honesty and vulnerability, I communicate that there is triumph in every trial and lessons in every mistake. Different choices can be made, and the mighty hand of God can break chains of bondage forged by years of sinful behavior.

Reviews - What do customers think about No More Than I Can Bear?
Heartbreaking Oct 29, 2006
A friend of mine in the Orlando area recommended this book to me. According to my friend, Natalie has since passed away due to cancer and her husband has been released from prison. I started reading this book and couldn't put it down. Natalie's story is heartbreaking to read, but I pray that she's in a better place and her children are doing well.
awestruck Feb 24, 2006
The most heartfelt, insightful and honest account of a soul's trials. The strenght and faith that develops during the hardest of times
Appreciate our blessings Feb 7, 2005
I picked this book up at midnight and didn't stop reading until I was done.
As the CEO of a major training company, I read a lot of books to give me insight on how to add value to my clients.
This book is well written, draws you in like a novel or a movie, takes you on a rollercoaster ride and in the end leaves you feeling wonderful about yourself and appreciating your blessings.
It certainly takes away all excuses and gives you hope that anything is possible if you believe in yourself, your family, your friends, your community but most importantly if you believe in GOD.
A Story Of Courage And Faith Feb 1, 2005
I was so blessed by the Author's honesty and transparency in sharing her story. Natalie takes the reader on a tremendous journey of her life as she unfolds her story of betrayal, pain and heartache. The seemingly insurmountable trials and tests that she has faced have obviously been the catalyst for God's hand of protection, providence and healing in her life. She is such a courageous and beautiful woman and her story will inspire and encourage you in your faith and walk with God. This book was an incredible blessing to me!!
The Previous Review Feb 1, 2005
The previous review from "Savanah Writes "Jennifer" appears to be written, not by someone who has read the book, but rather by someone who has a grudge against the author. If you take the time to read the book, you will see the grief that the author suffered from her in-laws... especially from their support of her husband's girl-friends (even taking the girl friend to meet with Victor in prison). Undoubtedly one of them is the author of this "so-called" review. I hope this will only encourage more people to read "No More Than I Can Bear" as it is truly a God honoring and honest work.
