More About Napoleon Hill & S. Clason George

Register your artisan biography and upload your photo! Napoleon Hill was born in 1883 in Wise County, Virginia. He worked as a secretary, a "mountain reporter" for a local newspaper, the manager of a coal mine and a lumber yard, and attended law school, before he began working as a journalist for Bob Taylor's Magazine--a job that led to his meeting steel magnate Andrew Carnegie, which changed the course of his life. Carnegie believed success could be distilled into principles that any person could follow, and urged Hill to interview the greatest industrialists of the era in order to discover these principles. Hill took on the challenge, which lasted twenty years and formed the building block for Think and Grow Rich, the wealth-building classic and all-time bestseller of its kind, which has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. Hill devoted the remainder of his life to discovering and refining the principles of success. After a long and rich career as an author, magazine publisher, lecturer, and consultant to business leaders, the motivational pioneer died in 1970 in South Carolina.

Napoleon Hill was born in 1883 and died in 1970.

Reviews - What do customers think about Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill AND The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason?

hard to read due to margins and print  Mar 29, 2009
I checked out both books from the library and absolutely loved them, rereading them both several times. It made sense to buy them, and when I saw that I could get both at once, I thought it was fantastic! Then I received it- small print, very small margins, overall hard to read. I'd rather have a book twice as thick and not have to use a ruler to keep my place on each line. I should have spent the few extra dollars and bought them separately.

A new way to look at money  Jan 18, 2009
This book makes so much sense - pay yourself first out of every bit of money you get, and then pay everyone else. Other great advice too.

Wonderful Book  Jul 16, 2008
The book was delivered in good condition and in a timely fashion. I am very pleased with your services.
