The Blue Berry Dessert recipe is missing its berries and uses a "double graham cracker crust (prepared)," whatever that might be. The Wild Card Chili recipe calls for one TEASPOON of chopped red bell pepper and 3 tablespoons of chili (not chili powder, chili!) The Rhubarb Pie recipe lists salt as an ingredient but doesn't use it, lists an ingredient called "dot butter," lists no ingredients or instructions for the meringue you're supposed to add at the end and makes no mention of a crust or pan size. The Pasta with Basil and Cheese Sauce calls for "oil olive," crab cakes are cooked in a "skilled," and whoever wrote the Strawberry Pie recipe doesn't seem to know 3 teaspoons equal a tablespoon. Too bad such a pretty book was sent out into the world without being proofread or copy edited or (I'd guess from the above examples) recipe-tested. Heaven help the reader who tries to use this book to cook from.

It is hard for me to be totally objective about this book due to the fact that I have a Recipe (Crab Cakes with Remoulade Sauce) included in the book. I think the book offers a wide variety of dishes that are easliy made.
