Reviews - What do customers think about Lily's In London?! (Young Women of Faith, Lily 13)?
sorry to see the series is coming to its end Sep 21, 2003
In the second to last book about Lily Robbins, she and her family travel to Oxford, England while her dad is a traveling fellow. But Lily is homesick, and has a hard time at first. She makes three unlikely friendships in Oxford: One is with Ingram, who is a geek with an attitude, another is Kimble, a rebel, and the last is Sister Benedict, a nun from the chapel across the way. Lily becomes convinced that she is on a pilgrimage during her trip when she recieves such advice from her grandmother and from sister Benedict. When she arrives at a distination, however, Lily is surprised. The book features a lot of british slang and talks about sights in England. This book is also longer than the others in the series. I recommend this book to fans of the series. It's such a shame, however, that this is the second to last book in the series.
