Item description for The Player Slayer: The Pocket Guide to Jamming the Player's Game by Ms. T....
How'd it happen? You've been through it before . . . and then before that . . . and then there was that other time. . . . But this time it was supposed to be different. You took your time. You weren't the first one to say, "I love you." You introduced him to your friends, and they approved. You waited two whole minutes before you let him hit it. And he waited. Patiently. He did every-thing right. He introduced you to his boys. Hell, he introduced you to his mama.
And still he played you.
So now you're all broken up inside. You're sad and lonely and mad at yourself and you hate him. Stop. Stop right there.
"Don't Hate the Player, Hate the Game."
NO! That's just a cliche-one that the players and the played alike use to keep the game in a cloud of smoke, hiding the fact that somebody played the game better than somebody else. Two people climbed in the ring. Somebody got their ass beat. It was you. Now you wanna hate the game. No. You hate the fact that you didn't play the game better.
This book is about you, the player, the game, and how you play it.
So begins this funny, fast, and down-and-dirty guide to -relationships-written with a sharp-as-steel urban edge, but sure to appeal to fed-up player prey everywhere. What is a player? The one who pursues women for the sake of the conquests, the triumphs, the pleasures of the game itself: the predator, however appealing his guise. The Player Slayer teaches you how, if a player has you in his sights, you can play the game without being turned into a "mark"-alone, outraged, and disappointed-but rather as a "slayer," empowered with the knowledge to outwit, outlast, and outplay the player. The Player Slayer is an urban answer to He's Just Not That Into You, a real-world revision of The Rules.
Ms. T. lives in a large eastern city where, despite her obvious advantage, she continues to dabble in the art of player slaying.

Reviews - What do customers think about The Player Slayer: The Pocket Guide to Jamming the Player's Game?
Are you joking? Mar 17, 2008
While I appreciated the author's sense of humor, this book is a joke. It could only possibly be for very young women (under age 24) who have time and good sense to waste. Any woman of good character would recognize a player and turn and walk away. Why waste time on men who are only interested in the conquest? This is total nonsense. Good for a laugh for college girls, but ladies over 24--don't waste your time or money.
Buy this book for your friends!!!! Apr 26, 2007
I will admit when I decided to read this book I was very, very skeptical. But Ms. T points out some very excellent points, a lot that should be obvious. This book needs to be purchased for your friends, or anyone you know that has been in a relationship with a player, so they can be the Player Slayer!! You will read this book and smack yourself on the head when you see some of the things the author mentions. The author does point out that all men are not players. But after reading this book a lot of players will be scratching their heads wondering why their "game" is not working like it used to. Read this book and empower yourself! Stop being the players victim, and be one step ahead of the player.
The Mantra "I gots no love for you today!!!!" will hopefully replace "All men are dogs!!!."
Must Read for all Single Women Jan 26, 2007
I read this book so fast and learned SO MUCH about The Game that my head is still spinning. Ms. T, I just want to say THANK YOU for teaching me how to "Jam the Players Game". I'll recommend this book to every female I know!
O K Sister, you got us. Oct 21, 2006
Ms. T. tells it like it is. Players have an unwritten rule book, and Ms. T. has put it into print. This is the kind of book real men want their sisters and daughters to read.
(RAW Rating: 4.5) - Slayers Unite! Aug 9, 2006
Ms. T. breaks it down for the game-challenged ladies and gents in THE PLAYER SLAYER: The Pocket Guide to Jamming the Player's Game. Chock-full of advice on topics such as how to spot a player, how players choose the women they play, what happens throughout the course of "the game," and what happens when a player falls in love, THE PLAYER SLAYER is a tell-it-like-it-is account of why we get played and how to stop it.
Ms. T. kept me flipping the pages with her conversational prose, but I must admit that I was a little skeptical of this book when I began reading it. My first impression was that Ms. T. was saying all men are players and there is no hope for women who haven't yet snagged their "nice guy." I was mistaken. The author points out time and again that not all men (or women) are players and that there are plenty of worthy mates for us to choose from. The key is to recognize game when it's being played and not to get played. I'm an advocate of any book that will open eyes and the lines of communication for women and men to build healthy relationships or will spare someone the heartache of getting played.
