You Finally Wrote the Book!! Mar 10, 2008
I am very happy that Ms. Abigail finally decided to put her seminar materials into book form. I have been following her on this book topic for many years now. I have benefited greatly from her many insights about this issue of eating. A short history about me: I was raised to believe I need to eat everything on my plate whether I was full or not ever since I was little. And after I stuffed myself eating all the food on my plate, my mom would put the leftover food from other plates to mine with a loving look that says "please finish these too". So growing up, I was good at overeating at every meal. After mid 20's, my body started to catch up with all my reckless consumption and I began to gain more and more weight. I felt sick physically but I didn't know how to not stop eating when I feel full. I struggled with exercise because my body felt heavy and sluggish, so that didn't work very well to help me lose weight. I have to say that Ms. Abigail's teaching on eating really opened my eyes to see that there's hope and a way to conquer this personal struggle of mine. I began to learn and do what she said to do. It was hard in the beginning because my mindset was so ingrained in me that I resisted change. But gradually, I was able to not stuff my self, then stop eating when I felt full. As a result, I began to feel better physically and mentally. Exercising became less of a struggle. And now, this new way has become my new lifestyle. I lost about 15lb over a few years time and am able to keep the weight off. I still enjoy and will continue to enjoy eating but no more with guilt. I hope those out there who are looking for answers will find this long review helpful.
