Not sure!!! Aug 2, 2008
I am trying to read the Bible in its' entirety. I ran across this book at the book store and have not quite finished it yet. I'm not exactly sure what I think just yet. There are alot of things I do not understand and may need to study the Bible on some of the issues brought up in the book. It is kind of creepy to read. I find myself wanting to consult an expert on the Bible relative to some of the issues raised in this book. I know it is a work of fiction. It is an interesting read. However, not being a Bible scholar and also being in process of studying the Bible myself, this book has kind of thrown me for a loop. If anything, I am more confused than when I first started reading the Bible.

Secrets Revealed Jan 1, 2006
HEAVEN SENT by Montre' Bible is the story of Andrew Turner, a typical seventeen year old high school student, who finds out his life is not as it appears, and nothing like he had been led to believe. During the prime of his teen years, he realizes the person he thought he was is far from the person he really is.
Andrew was raised in a single parent home. His father walked out, and Andrew's mother became his life. He works a part time job to help make ends meet and would do any and everything in his power to ensure his mother's happiness. When she begins to take ill, Andrew wonders what his life would be like if she were no longer in it. His deepest fear comes true when his mother dies and Andrew is left all alone.
As if dealing with his mother's death isn't enough, he also goes to live with his mother's best friend and her daughter in another city, leaving all his friends and classmates behind. When Andrew begins to have blackouts, dizzy spells and terrifying visions that reveal he may have supernatural powers, he unsuccessfully tries to keep his symptoms to himself so people won't think he is crazy. In the midst of it all, his estranged father comes back into his life.
While he is adjusting to living with his mother's best friend and the reappearance of his father, secrets are revealed to Andrew about his parents. He finds out that he is a half angel and half human and, that there is a demonic spirit that is trying to take over his life and his soul. Feeling like he is in the twilight zone, but finally coming to grips with who and what he is, Andrew is determined to win this spiritual warfare and prove that good does rule over evil.
HEAVEN SENT is a fast-paced, suspenseful read I couldn't put down. Written with well-developed characters and a very unique storyline, this is not your average Christian Fiction read. Although it dealt with supernatural and demonic issues, it also showed no matter how much evil there is, good will always win. The story was not at all preachy, but in fact intriguing, and had me wanting more. Kudos to Bible on his debut novel.

This Book Is Creepy Dec 3, 2005
I am a 36 year old, Afican American woman who loves to read. However, nothing defines me better than the fact that I am a child of God. I am in the middle of reading this book, page 97, chapter twelve. I am shocked and disturbed about the things that this book is seeming to suggest. I have never heard of such a thing as Nephilim and have yet to look it up in the Bible. I know the Bible talks about ministering to angels unaware, I know that a lot of things in the Bible are a mystery, and that the Bible says that in the last days knowledge will increase. I have read the entire Bible at least once all the way through, however, I wouldn't dare to say that I understand or even remember everything that it says. All I am saying is that this book is throwing me for a loop and forcing me to do more deep thinking than I have ever done. Andrew could never top me in that area. I know that there is a reason that I have come across this book, so I will attempt to finish it, but it's creepy. Really, really creepy. Maybe I'll have a better opinion after I finish it and search out the claims in the word. I think I should check the word now.
Awesome! Dec 2, 2005
Heaven Sent is quick and easy read, sure to grasp many readers' attention. I like how this book tied in elements of spiritual warfare and gifts, concepts which so many Christians ignore. The plot is compelling and interwoven with apologetics to convince skeptical readers of the Bible's truth, though Andrew's story is a little exaggerated.
Being a high school senior myself, I relate to Andrew's struggles, and I was drawn to the book because I felt he gave words to many struggles in my spiritual life that I haven't been able to give words to.
Awesome job Montré Bible, can't wait for the next one!
