Great Mix Apr 1, 2003
I was lucky to get a copy of the book. The quality, design, illustrations, and material look very beautiful. I enjoyed reading it. It has deep meanings for discerning people. I needed to read it more that once to understand the connotation very closely. The more I read it, the more I enjoy it. The author was able to present the eastern culture in a western view; therefore, he came up with great and interesting mix of the two. He is trying to amalgamate the two good characteristics of both civilizations. I recommend reading it for both worlds; hence, both will benefit and learn from each other. I believe that the author aforethought some inscrutability for good reason.
Painful Experience Feb 4, 2003
The author of this book is my husband. I have gone through a painful experience while he was writing it. I know how much efforts he has put into it for the theme and illustrations, and sometimes reasearch. He spent almost one year and a half to complete it due to his limited time. Nevertheless, looking at the product, I think it is worth the efforts. Anyone will enjoy the story. Those who won't, will at least enjoy the beautiful illustrations in the book, some of which are rare pieces of art.
Disney Quality Oct 14, 2002
This anecdote reminds me of Disney Quality Cartoon movies. I believe this should be made a movie.
Logic explained Oct 13, 2002
I thought this was an excellent book for everyone - both students and those who have had little or no introduction to the subject of logic. The book employs classic themes (good against evil) to show how "the hero" uses logic to determine the truth - most useful knowledge for anyone - thus saving himself and others. I enjoyed reading the book and I learned something valuable - I would recommend it to anyone.
Extremely Beautiful and Entertaining Oct 10, 2002
Extremely Beautiful and Entertaining anecdote. It has lots of ethics and values. Educational and explains logic very easily. I recommend it for everyone to read more than once. It mixes both western and eastern values and cultures. It also has beautiful illustrations and professional paintings. You'll enjoy both.
