Nonpacifist perspectives on 20th century war Jan 5, 2010
This is a collection of Protestant and Catholic materials written since the 1930's that address war from a religious but not a pacifist perspective. Topics include WW II, Vietnam, nuclear deterrence, and the (first)Persian Gulf War. A good introduction to how thoughtful Christians outside the peace church tradition have struggled with the problems of war (including "just war")in modern times.
