Item description for The Night Boy by Michael D. Preddy...
COULD IT HAPPEN?...IT ALREADY HAS! Global covert military operations have spawned a new breed of serial killer. Men so ruthless and well trained that the executions performed on their targets leave no clues to their identities or motivations. Back home a new hunting ground has been established. The prey, all young women, are brought to their height of pleasure then slaughtered, their bodies left posed in a state of tranquility. Will the efforts of detectives Bill Boyles and Becca Sams be enough to stop the grotesque madness? Or will this chameleon-like killer slip away into the night? INTENDED FOR MATURE READERS!

Reviews - What do customers think about The Night Boy?
The Night Boy is Very Cool Nov 22, 2004
After reading The Night Boy I can conclude that Mr. Preddy has a jaded imagination and/or lead a very interesting and bizarre life. Maybe that's why I liked it so much. NOTE: The Night Boy I read had 296 pages.
The Night Boy is really good Pulp Fiction Nov 15, 2004
Finally some real pulp fiction and it's good too. Preddy doesn't try to articulate every thought of every character like so many writers do; instead he leaves some space for the readers' imaginations. The Night Boy's rapid pacing is as visual and as exciting as a good movie. The best one-night stand I've had in years! George Laslow, Henley-On-Thames,U.K. (georgelaslow @ aol.com)
The Night Boy is a real page burner Nov 15, 2004
I read a lot of thrillers but I had to read The Night Boy twice as Preddy conjures up some clever misdirection, some just a word, that turn on a dime. It's funny too. In fact I found some of the humorous passages, like "you can't get pregnant from spit", creeping into my thoughts days later. The Night Boy is a real page burner that sticks with you like mashed potatoes!
