Reviews - What do customers think about Merriam-Webster Dictionary?
Excellent Product May 22, 2010
Not too much to say about a dictionary. It was in excellent condition. Shipping was as indicated. Person who received product was totally satisfied. Thanks this site.
Good and Best - Daily Apr 11, 2010
This is a very good and best dictionary for daily life communication. Again, this is not a VOCABULARY builder book. If you are a college student or language researcher this is NOT a dictionary for you.
NEVER RECEIVED!!!!!!! Feb 1, 2010
PAID FOR THIS AND NEVER RECEIVED THE ITEM! EMAILED WITH CONCERN AND NEVER GOT RESPONSE!!!!
Lost,destroyed with no feedback Jan 30, 2010
At first package did not arrive. Sent message to seller several times with NO response. Eventually package arrived with stampiing from post office "Received in damaged condition". Book in torn condition. Still no response from seller. Makes me reconsider any future purchases like this.
How can they call this dictionary!!!!! Jan 4, 2010
Shame on the editor, what kind of thing it is on world, that explain things in a matter that are even more complicated to understand!~
For example, Distress - seizure and detention of the goods of another as pledge or to obtain satisfaction of a claim by the sale of the goods seized .
If I am able to interpret that long phrase I would have known the word distress already!
A dictionary is used to help people, learning, communicate, not to showing off how complicated some people are able to make the language become!!!!!!
This is the worst product ever~!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't be fooled~~~
