Reviews - What do customers think about Knitting for Baby: 30 Heirloom Projects with Complete How-to-Knit Instructions?
Loves this book! Oct 7, 2008
I saw this book and fell in love with it. The pictures make you want to make the items. (They must have gotten the cutest babies too!) I want to make so many of these items that I can't wait. I'm not an "experienced" knitter (made socks, done cables etc though) and I find that I have the confidence to make the items. I think that anything made out of this book will surely become a heirloom item. I would recommend this book to anyone!!
Excellent Instructions for the new knitter Sep 21, 2008
I have just taken up knitting because I am pregnant and wanted to make some things for my baby - this book is fantastic. I have just fiished knitting the stay on booties - which according to my neighbour actually do stay on (she uses these booties as a staple baby gift because they stay on)!!! The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and even though it says you need to be competent with double pointed needles I managed to knit up the perfect little booties for my first attempt. The other projects in the book are lovely too! I highly recommend this book.

This is a very nice book, particularly for beginning knitters. It covers all the basics in clear text and graphics. Good clear patterns.
New Again May 1, 2008
i bought this book while pregnant with my first, 5 years ago. I refound it and I can't wait to start knitting a couple items for our upcoming arrival. Practical ideas and good instructions! Cable blankets, sweaters. Great!
Great Knitting Book for Baby! Apr 17, 2008
This is a great beginner book to advanced knitter. The instructions help those with beginner hand knitting skills to master smaller projects and then the projects advance to higher skills. There are projects in this book for every type of knitter. I like the diagrams (measurements) listed clearly. This is a book that if you are a machine knitter that you could figure out how to make these projects on your knitting machine--following the correct guage--you can come out with simliar projects too. I hope to make a few of these projects by hand and machine knitting!
