Indispensable Apr 15, 2008
This is the book I'd recommend to anyone facing any cancer diagnosis, or the loved ones of people diagnosed with cancer. It's not a doom and gloom book - this one provides hope and is written in a positive tone. Packed with information and tips, I think everyone dealing with cancer should read this.
A Wellspring of Useful Information Sep 15, 2007
I am going to give a copy of this book to a family member who has just been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I can think of no better "gift" to bring to the hospital than this book. I think it will serve a multitude of uses for the patient and his family members, including but not limited to, what to expect from chemo treatments, questions to ask, a place to record notes from visits with doctors, etc., etc. A much better choice than balloons or flowers.
