Reviews - What do customers think about Black Loam?

Five Stars for Black Loam  Mar 24, 2005
This lovely second book by Maxine Scates, author of Toluca Street, is an intimate journey through a landscape of love, loss, fidelity, family, and finally, freedom. Scates has a clear eye and a huge heart. At home on the earth or in the sky, these fine poems sing.
