Netter's Atlas of Human Pathology is a visually vibrant approach to help students gain critical insight into the structure-function relationships and the pathological basis of human disease. It provides clear and succinct representations of common human diseases by relating anatomical changes to the functional and clinical manifestations of disease and their underlying causes and mechanisms. Features more than 380 classic Netter and new Netter-sytle images, gross and microscopic photographs and tables.

The book consists of 12 organ-specific chapters - each containing precisely rendered illustrations of pathological processes and diseases accompanied by relevant text to expand knowledge and clarify understanding. Comparative data about similar disease processes are summarized in tables.

Netter's Illustrated Human Pathology The Atlas offers a superb complement to more comprehensive textbooks and presentations of pathology, including course syllabi. It can also be used as an adjunct for study of gross and microscopic pathology specimens in laboratory exercises, and makes a great review resource for students, medical residents, physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Reviews - What do customers think about Netter's Illustrated Human Pathology (Netter Basic Science)?

More Netter Excellence  Dec 7, 2007
Once again we are in admiration or medicine's most excellent illustrator. Superbly well done. Ralph Hyden, MD
Excellent!  Oct 27, 2007
This book has fanrastic illustrations and got here quit early. Very happy with the service!
For nursing students, it beats out Basic Pathology  Apr 25, 2007
For medical students, the staple book on pathology is Robbins and Cotran's Pathologic Basis of Disease. They've made a Basic Pathology book in this series for non-med healthcare providers. Basic Pathology is as a teaching tool. Poorly written, condensed to the point where I can't even read it, I might as well have bought the med student version of that book.

Enter Netter's Illustrated Human Pathology--perfect for nursing students who need to learn pathology! Out of all the pathology books I have reviewed, this one has the best blend of imagery (by none other than the venerable Dr. Frank Netter) and text to help allied health students understand system pathology at a histological, morphological and even systemic basis.

Can never go wrong with Netter, I guess!
