Item description for A Practical View of Real Christianity (Classics of Christian Faith) (Listener's Collection of Classic Christian Literature) by Max McLean...
Overview William Wilberforce, the great British statesman, is best known as the driving force in Parliament that ended the slave trade in England. His tireless perseverance and deep-rooted trust in the gospel made him one of England's most effective political leaders. His book Real Christianity shows us the passion that fueled his life. Today, as the gap between "real Christianity" and "cultural Christianity" is as wide as it has ever been, it is important to look at Wilberforce as a guide to help us move beyond being a Christian in name only and towards being a dynamic, world-changing follower of Christ.

I bought this tape as a gift for someone. William Wilberforce set the stage for freedom to the slaves of America, though He was fighting slavery in Britain and was inspired by the author of the song "Amazing Grace". It is wonderful a cd and should be shared with others!
