Item description for Traveling Light: Releasing the Burdens You Were Never Intended to Bear (Lucado Premier Library Collectio) by Max Lucado...
Overview This study of the 23rd Psalm reminds Christians that God wants them to release the loads they were never intended to carry.
The Luggage of Life. Haven't you been known to pick up a few bags?
Weary travelers. You've seen them-everything they own crammed into their luggage. Staggering through terminals and hotel lobbies with overstuffed suitcases, trunks, duffels, and backpacks.
At times, we are people like that-if not with our physical luggage then at least with our spiritual baggage of guilt, discontentment, anxiety, fear, perfectionism, and more. The Twenty-third Psalm reminds us that God wants us to release these loads we were never intended to carry.

Reviews - What do customers think about Traveling Light (Premier Library Ed)?
Traveling Light Aug 11, 2008
This is the best book I have read. It deals with the common burdens of life and how to hand them over to God. I thought it was so good I bought the large print book as well for my Grandfather to read.
Traveling Light Jul 2, 2008
Our class picked this book as what we thought would be a light summer read. While it's certainly easy to take in, it has deeply affected each of us. This is a walk through the 23rd Psalm which is likely to be a comfort and a personal challenge to most who read it.
Thought provoking information Jun 13, 2008
Although I am still reading the book, so far it has been very insightful! Max really makes sense in the simplicity of what he is conveying, as well as making the reader think at the same time. Very enjoyable so far.
