What I think about 'He Chose You' Sep 29, 2005
This book is a strong spiritual book. It tells about all the things at the cross, and what they meant. It talks about the soldiers spit, the crown of thorns, the nails, the sign reading "Jesus of Nazareth, The King of the Jews," the two crosses behind Jesus, path to calvary, garment, the wine soaked sponge, the torn flesh, the blood and water, the cross, the burial clothing, and the empty tomb. It talks about how all of those things symbolize one of God's promises. It has a story that goes along with each lesson to help you understand and to give an example.
I liked this book. It is very informational. This book makes you think. I enjoyed it mostly because it is a christian book, and is good for your soul. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that is willing to learn about what God did for us. It gives scripture to back it up. I will be reading this book again, because I was so pleased with it. My favorite part was near the end when it talks about leaving your anger, sadness, anxiousness, and bad moments at the foot of the cross. It really made me realize that I am holding onto things I shouldn't be. Overall I was not displeased with this book in any way.
