Item description for He Chose the Nails: What God Did to Win Your Heart (Walker Large Print Books) by Max Lucado...
Overview Linger on the hill of Calvary. Rub a finger on the timber and press the nail into your hand. Taste the tinge of cheap wine and feel the scrape of a thorn on your brow. Touch the velvet dirt, moist with the blood of God. Allow the tools of torture to tell their story. Listen as they tell you what God did to win your heart.

Reviews - What do customers think about He Chose the Nails: What God Did to Win Your Heart (Walker Large Print Books)?
He Chose the Nails Sep 8, 2008
This is an AWESOME book. I try and read it each year leading up to Easter.
Lucado's best work Dec 18, 2007
Have read many of Max Lucado's books and sometimes they seem rather sappy to me. This one stands out among his writings as one of the most moving books on the crucifixion I have ever read. We have purchased this book for gifts many times.
He Chose Nails May 12, 2007
I have read many of Max Lucado books, and this one is one of his best. It brings us even closer to our Lord and Savior, and the sacrifice He went through for you and me.
Savoring the Cross of Christ Apr 26, 2007
Max draws you into the cross of Christ, as he attempts to capture your mind with reference to things you would not even consider. The Via Dolorosa is our journey too. Bravo!
Good Lenten Reading! Apr 2, 2007
We are doing a Lenten study using this book. The short chapters are easy to read and very thought provoking. I was especially glad it came in large print for a friend of mine who has trouble with her eyes. We have enjoyed it very much. The questions are better for those who have not really studied their faith in depth. I like the scripture study and references the best. Thanks Max!
