The God Who won't let go Nov 9, 2008
I have purchased 15 copies of this book and given them all away. Each recipient agrees that this is a wonderfully insightful book, an outstanding aid for spiritual growth. To be highly recommended for all levels of the spiritual journey.
Another Excellent Title by Lucado Apr 25, 2008
Come Thirsty is yet another great book written by Max Lucado, one of today's premier Christian authors. The main theme of the book is to come to Christ for fulfillment instead of trying to find it through self-effort or other endeavors.
The book is around 150 pages and contains 17 chapters with such titles as:
1. The Dehydrated Heart 2. Waiting for Power 3. It's Not Up to You 4. Worry? You Don't have To 5. With God As Your Guardian 6. Going Deep 7. Fearlessly Facing Eternity
There is also a study guide at the end of the book. While I did not go through every chapter, I did like what I saw from the study guide.
Read and enjoy. Highly recommended!
Lucado does it again Feb 8, 2008

Once again.....absolutely awe-inspiring Sep 12, 2007
Max Lucado is my very favorite author. He simply and effortlessly paints a picture in your mind with his words, causing a deep and lasting effect on one's soul. The Lord God Almighty has anointed this author to quench the thirst of a very labored and weary world. Thank you Max, for choosing to use your gift of writing to bring all of us closer to the God who makes our heart beat, our body breathe, and our souls renewed.

Great Use of A Refreshing Metaphor! Apr 26, 2007
Though I do not agree with many of his conclusions in some of his other writings, I found this work very helpful. I truly enjoyed his use of the water metaphor and all is applications. A good read.
