Reviews - What do customers think about Know Your Limits-Then Ignore Them?
Enjoyable yet lacking Apr 2, 2008
Depending on how one finds inspiration, this book will have varying degrees of impact. Among the many "nuggets" of entertaining and stimulating anecdotes there lies a foundation for rousing one to action.
Despite a worthy amount of motivation, the book in its totality reads more like a pep talk than a lasting game plan for enduring success. I do not contend to discount the value of the parables provided as a stimulant to those seeking encouragement; however reality will demonstrate that a considerably larger amount of substance is required for lasting success.
There are superior motivational works available that offer better inspirational tools. Know Your Limits does a proficient job when speaking of passion, yet makes little mention of how to find that passion; a void that would have added substantial value. Although the book is an enjoyable read, in terms of overall effectiveness I would not highly recommend this book.
