Item description for Exodus : The Dolph/in Saga by Martin A. Enticknap...

A legend is born............

A new vision in the birth of a race beyond even history - 35 million years ago the future was created.

Their story is ours - their hope is a gift which we ignore at our peril.

They speak - we do not hear because we dare not listen.

The ancient Greeks honoured them; killing them was punishable by death. The Iroquois people also saw them differently and spoke of their way.

They witnessed our birth as a race. But now we no longer see them and they die in their thousands, and as our new age begins it's time for their legacy to be realised.

You've been invited and water-time is open to all............ This is their beginning............

Promise Angels is dedicated to bringing you great books at great prices. Whether you read for entertainment, to learn, or for literacy - you will find what you want at!

Reviews - What do customers think about Exodus : The Dolph/in Saga?

Magical, enchanting, uplifting and inspiring tale  May 10, 2002
I thoroughly recommend this book as a really good read that you will find difficult to put down and will be drawn back to again and again. Only a few other books such as 'Watership Down' by Richard Adams have enchanted me so much that I read them more than once. Indeed I would rank this author alongside Richard Adams and I certainly hope to read more books by this talented and highly original writer. Unlike so many writers these days this writer has not found it necessary to borrow ideas from other writers.
Naturally, this book will not be to everyone's liking as people's reading tastes differ. However, even if this is not your usual read I'd say take a chance as you may find yourself very pleasantly surprised. It is an excellent read if you want to find yourself enchanted by something out of the ordinary. Let your imagination flow with this book and you will find yourself transported to a whole new world. And you will never look at our fellow 'Travellers', dolphins and whales, in quite the same way again.
Personally, I found this book enchanting, moving, inspiring, thought provoking and very, very different. I also found it refreshing in that it was a really good read without needing to use gratuitous sex, violence and bad language to tell its story. That is unusual in this day and age where so many of the bestselling writers seem unable to produce a book without it. As someone who is widely read in many genres I'd say that this is the best book I've read in a very long time and deserves to become a bestselling classic.
There are some truly charming characters in this book such as Mel-e-gar, Tan-e-lea, Jux-e-lea and others who you will really warm to. A truly charming, inspired, soul stirring and magical tale which will lift the spirit of all those open to its magic. Listen to its music with your soul and you will feel it. Its harmonies are very relaxing and good to immerse oneself in after a stressful day.
All in all a fantastic read which I am now reading for the fourth time and each time it touches my soul deeply.
More please!
Incredible Thought Provoking Novel!  Jul 18, 2000
I canna rate this book more highly, Since buying it I have read it three times, It is stupendous in its depth and clarity of vision. Its much more than just a story about Dolphins, its a metopher for hope in the age when everything looked lost. The author should be congratulated on creating the most original piece of fiction in the past hundred years. A real masterpeice of subtle depths that keep me going back and finding more and more. I dinna know that a novel could be written on so many levels! Who is this guy ? Can't wait for more - Hope more is to come. So much love and care in this and the passion is in every page with so many new ideas. Just breath taking.......
This is a brilliant, highly original piece of work.  Aug 6, 1999
Though his novel, EXODUS: the Dolphin Saga, is written in terms of "Fiction?", Mr. Enticknap has brilliantly captured an essence of truth about the dolphins' long ago past, their way of life, and where they came from. His novel is an outstanding work of genius. The story rings right, and I could feel the story and the truth behind it as I read it. I feel like the author really has an amazing gift of being able to capture stories out there in the universe and bring them to reality within his novels that he writes. Even though his characters are dolphs and dolphins, one can compare their characteristics to the human race. Some of the characters in his book, I could compare to people I have known in real life, and through reading this book, I have been caused to gain a better understanding of those certain people who I didn't previously understand. When read properly, this book is an excellent resource for helping people gain a broader understanding of their fellow beings. A friend of my family who also read this book commented, "I believe dolphins and man are connected, and they could have very likely at one time have had a shared existence. We recognize so little about other times and give so little credit to the intelligence of other living things."
