Great range from funny to needing a box of tissues Aug 23, 2008
What a great book. I read the stories so intently that passersby at an airport and a restaurant actually took notice and asked me what I was reading. Very inspirational and humbling.

I purchased this book at my 7 year old daughters book fair at school. I wasn't sure that I even could read it beacause I've never really liked any books axcept non-fiction mystery kind of things. But I bought it anyway thinking it would give me something to do. Once I started to read it a few days later, I could'nt put it down. The first story made me cry. By the end of the first night, I was halfway through the book. I finished it less than a week later at 1 in the morning. I think it has given me a better appreciation for my own daughter and the situation we are in. I look at being a parent in a different way. Sure, I have always had this overwelming sense of joy and love for her. But now I don't take everyday for granted!

Yet another review I write for this wonderful series of Chicken Soup. Every one I have read is beautiful and heartwarming. This one is no different. I am amazed at how much I laughed and cried my way through this book. I am always excited each time they come out with a new edition!

This book is filled with delightful, touching stories that will melt your heart and make you remember your childhood. Very similar to the book, Forget Me Knots from the Front Porch, this book will take you home and be a great gift for that certain someone you didn't know what to buy for.
