Item description for Combat Christianity (The Christian's Promised Land III) by Mark D. Bristow...
This is the final book of the Christian's Promised Land series. In this series we have progressed from the elimination of traditional baggage and misinformation (Why Bad Things Happen to Good People) through restoration and revitalization of the message most prominently delivered by Jesus and His followers (Where's the Power At?). It is one thing to make the journey; it is entirely different to occupy the land. Here in Combat Christianity we delve into the advanced strategies and tactics of spiritual warfare as has never been done before. It is as if Sun Tzu met the Ephesians and the Corinthians and studied their ways and words. A great deal of emphasis is placed on motivation behind ministry and how that relates to the success of such ministry. It is also important to note that many tactics that Christian's have poorly understood and therefore inadequately implemented are expounded upon in some detail. It is in understanding appropriate tactics that allows for the expansion of strategies to rescue the oppressed, deliver the captive and conquer the enemy in your life as well as in your neighbor's life. If your heart has brought you to a place of joining the army of the Lord, then consider Combat Christianity your field-training manual. Welcome Aboard Mark D. Bristow is a founder of Nehemiah's Gates Ministries. He resides in Mesa, Arizona and attends Living Word Bible Church.

Advanced tactics and strategies for Spiritual Warfare Dec 9, 2007
Combat Christianity - Book three of the Christian's Promised Land series. As I have studied the first two books of the series, I find this one to be amazingly different. In Combat Christianity, twenty-five specific areas are addressed in some detail. Many areas I believe could have been delved into deeper but none of them would I consider as going too much in depth. I also must consider that some topics seem brief but their references to the previous books for better detail merely results in saving space. It could be assumed that, because of several references to the previous books, CC is not a stand alone work. Well, if you have this book, the portions that do stand alone are more than worthy of the cost and the wait. If you have the previous two issues of the CPL series then you are getting deeply blessed indeed. Now that the series is complete and widely available, I'm really looking forward to the changes across the country - from pew to pulpit - to manifest as people begin to incorporate these into their lives. It's time we take spiritual warfare to the level that does the most damage!
