More About Kirk Franklin
Kirk Franklin is the top gospel artist in Nielsen Soundscan history, selling more than twelve million albums and more than twenty #1 gospel hits. The host of his own BET talent search program, Sunday Best, he is the winner of seven Grammy awards, six NAACP awards, and many other honors. Also the author of the memoir, Church Boy: My Music and My Life, he lives in Texas with his wife, Tammy, and their four children.
Kirk Dwayne Franklin (born January 26, 1970) is an American gospel musician, choir director, and author. He is known for leading urban contemporary gospel choirs such as The Family, God's Property and One Nation Crew (1NC), and has won multiple awards.
Like Andre Crouch in the 70s and the Winans in the 80s, Kirk Franklin was the most important Gospel artist of the 90s and a principal force in the genre's mass acceptance during its most successful decade. An important link between Gospel and the emerging hip-hop movement in secular music, Franklin made Gospel music relevant to young urban listeners and in the process created opportunity for a new generation of Gospel artists.
Kirk Franklin currently resides in Fort Worth.

Reviews - What do customers think about Now Behold The Lamb?
Behold the Lamb Mar 10, 2008
I was somewhat pleased about the CD, but I would have liked it more if it had been Kirk Franklin on the CD instead of the lady group who sang the song instead of Kirk Franklin. The CD has Kirk Franklin's endorsement but he is not on the song at all. The CD is a good CD and it sounded nice and it is still nice to add to one's collection, but I would say that it is better to do the homework on what one wants instead of what one gets because of misinformation.
