Exciting story!! Jul 7, 2008
LOVED it. Hoping for another book to see what happens to the character next!
It is a good read for all ages and it would be a great book for a youth group to read and discuss.
Simplistically Poweful Jun 27, 2008
I would never have purchased this book...and I would have missed a wonderful read. My wife left it on a table, and my first thought was that it was a sickly sweet "chick book." But, I decided to give it a try. It was a very good decision. "Evil's Thief" is a simple, yet powerful story that repeatedly caused me to positively examine and exercise my commitment to Christ. The book wonderfully weaves Scripture verses with a compelling plot line. It is an extremely educational and thought provoking, yet completely enjoyable, fast paced story. A book like this can easily become an unrealistic litany of superficial victories in God's name, but "Evil's Thief" has a hardened, real world edge that effectively illustrates our role, both positive and negative, in the battle of good and evil. The ending was a particularly poignant demonstration that God can be found and glorified in even the most traumatic circumstances. Read this book - you won't regret the decision.
