Item description for Hearts at Home (Heavenly Daze Series #5) by Lori Copeland & Angela Hunt...
Overview While Edith prepares for Salt and Birdie's springtime wedding, Annie faces a dilemma when she inherits a beloved house she cannot afford, a situation that is complicated by Caleb's impending transfer. Original.
Publishers Description Edith is trying to lose weight in every way imaginable to get into a certain dress by the time Salt and Birdie's April wedding rolls around. Olympia dies suddenly, leaving her daughter Annie the beloved old house, which she can't afford to keep and maintain on her professor's salary. Leaving it would be cutting herself off from Heavenly Daze, and she can't bring herself to do that, although A.J. is urging her to move to New York to be near him. Plus, Caleb tells her he's being "transferred" at the end of the month Annie has to learn how to find God's will . . . and open herself up to a new love that's been under her nose the entire time.

Reviews - What do customers think about Hearts at Home (Heavenly Daze Series #5)?
I loved this book! Jul 31, 2003
This series has really just grown on me. I love these characters and their small town island charm. I loved reading about Annie and Dr. Marc....totally wasn't even expecting their romance so was kind of surprised but then I just loved reading about them. I can't wait to read about their "courtship" in then next book. I also thought Edith's struggle with her weight was what a lot of women end up doing. The way the authors dealt with that issue was very well done. We have to trust God in every area of our life...including our appetite. I started rereading certain parts of the book right away....excellent book!
Heavenly Daze is "Father Tim "...... Jul 31, 2003
I found this series of books by Lori Copeland to be so much fun and entertaining, that I could hardly wait to read them all. They remind me so much of the small town love and fun of Jan Karon's "Mitford" series of books. A must read!!!!
I love this fluff! Mar 19, 2003
Lighthearted and heartwarming. Everyone needs some fluff reading on their bookshelves. I love this series ("A Perfect Love" is definately the weakest however) and this book, "Hearts at Home", is wonderful. I liked the turn of events for Annie and Edith had some downright hilarious moments. We spent a bit too much time "on the other side" with Olympia perhaps but I was no worse for the wear. I can always count on these books to fill me up and leave me a better person. Thank you authors Copeland and Hunt and please hurry with the next one.
I love these books! Feb 24, 2003
I just received my copy of Hearts at Home late yesterday in the mail, began it last night and just finished it already (boo hoo hoo!)! I have thoroughly enjoyed this series of stories about Heavenly Daze.
I cannot quite explain it, but when I read these books, I felt calm and relaxed, which is something I don't feel often. Often, I am anxious and worried, but these stories have an overwhelming power of relaxation and healing over me. Simply put, they make me smile and sometimes choke up and sometimes I laugh out loud!
Ready for another one! Jan 22, 2003
I just finshed Hearts at Home and have just one question: WHEN WILL THE NEXT BOOK BE READY?! I can't wait for it. I am really beginning to wonder if the authors have a spy camera in my house. Edith's dieting sounds just like mine! I love seeing Dr. Marc and Annie together. Mourned the loss of Olympia and cried while I read about the wedding.
