Reviews - What do customers think about The Busy Mom's Devotional: Ten Minutes a Week to a Life of Devotion?
The perfect devotional for the busy Mom Mar 25, 2010
I bought this devotional and have finally gotten around to chiseling out a time to go through it. Each one is meant to be weekly but I've been using it as a daily devotional. I can't tell you how each one speaks to my life in a meaningful way, it's a great way to start my day and helps shapes my thoughts and attitudes in the right way.

No More Guilt MOM! You CAN DO This! Mar 20, 2008
I LOVE this concept. I think as moms, we live with too much guilt. Guilt at no longer being a size 4. Guilt for losing our temper or not having supper ready on time. Guilt for not being the perfect wife, the perfect mom, or even for not knowing where that lost single sock went in the dryer.
We live on guilt. It feeds us, and creates a sense of insecurity and doubt about who we are.
And top that all off with the fact that as a busy mom, you never seem to have the time to pray or get into a great devotional to be with God, build your faith, and lean on our Heavenly Father.
We need to let go of all the guilt that eats at our joy, and rest in the arms of God.
That is why Lisa's new book, The Busy Mom's Devotional is the perfect book for every busy mom, like you, who needs a lot less stress and a little more God in their daily lives.
This book is a PERFECT gift for your mom for MOTHER's DAY!

Great way to start the week Feb 8, 2008
This is a great book to give you a boost anytime during the week. The sections are short enough that you can spend as little or as much time as you want on devotions. It truly is a blessing for "Busy Moms".

The Busy Mom's Devotional: Ten Minutes a Week to a Life of Devotion
This devotional is wonderful! Lisa understands the demands of motherhood and how frantic a busy Mom's schedule can be. Her life stories are relevant because they are shared by all mothers. Her honesty about her own life's "Mom experiences" is comforting. She makes it easy to sit down for a quiet moment and focus on God while Touching a Mother's Heart. I highly recommend this book.
